Vincent grew up bi-culturally and bi-lingually in a southern Italian family and so as a director, his films explore social and cultural issues and questions of identity. He holds post-graduate diplomas in Documentary from the VCA (University of Melbourne) and Cinematography from AFTRS. For his film Intervention, produced whilst living in Alice Springs, he won a Documentary Australia Foundation Award for Best Documentary.
Now based in Melbourne, Vincent is also a committed
educator who teaches storytelling and filmmaking in many contexts including many Aboriginal communities across Australia, the outcomes of which include short films such as the comedy Bus Stop being broadcast on national television and screened at Parliament House in Canberra.
