Reintegration

CONCEPT:

Recidivism, the return of released prisoners to prison, is a major problem. Queensland Corrective Services were interested in a film that would prepare inmates nearing release for the shock that awaits them on the outside.

This film was particularly challenging because we could only use audio from interviews with inmates and former inmates, no vision.

OUTCOME:

Queensland Correctional Services cannot comment on the use of the film, however we understand it has elicited very strong and positive responses from those who were involved in the production as well as those who have viewed it.
