Lisa Albert

Lisa holds a B.A. in Anthropology and a Grad Dip in Film Producing (Uni. Of Melb, VCA). She has extensive experience working in the community development field and in the cross-cultural realm.

 

She has executive produced a National health media campaign, was instrumental in setting up the Akeyulerre healing Centre in Alice Springs, assisted numerous stolen generation survivors to reunite with their traditional families in Central Australia, and was the Victorian state co-ordinator for Indigenous social and emotional wellbeing staff.

 

Lisa has produced numerous short documentaries, several of which have aired on NITV. Her background in anthropology and community partnerships brings an alternate view to story telling and a passion to make a difference. She is currently developing a project about the IVF Industry and the way it treats women. She is also producing a feature documentary on domestic violence.
